Litigation Attorney
Direct Counsel is partnering with a nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firm to identify a mid-level Associate Attorney with 5 years of experience to join its Litigation Business Unit in Houston or Dallas, TX. Full-time position with ability to work remotely a few days per week. Candidates must hold an active Texas Bar license.
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:
- Prior representation of clients in oil and gas matters, including oil and gas royalty disputes, quiet title and trespass actions, and regulatory disputes.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Trial preparation and courtroom experience, including file responsibility, motion practice, and deposition experience
- Experience working with e-discovery software
- Exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary range: $175,000 – $200,000 annually (DOE).
