Overview
Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a nationally recognized practice in Dallas. This is a great opportunity for a junior associate to gain hands-on experience in complex litigation with a dynamic, high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Research and draft briefs for complex litigation matters
- Work on motions to dismiss, summary judgment, and class certification
- Assist with trial preparation and court appearances
- Take and defend depositions
- Manage case strategy and support appeals and writs
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of litigation experience
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Experience with motions, depositions, and court appearances
- Solid academic credentials and case management ability
- Texas Bar admission required
