Position Overview
The firm is seeking an experienced full-time Legal Secretary to support attorneys in its Real Estate Financial Services practice group. This is a hybrid position, with four days in the office and one day remote. The ideal candidate will possess strong real estate law experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law; experience in tax law or real estate finance is highly desirable.
Prepare, proofread, and finalize real estate documents, closing binders, and related materials.
Record and file real estate documents with various state agencies and offices.
Manage files, open new matters, and ensure all relevant documentation is properly maintained and organized.
Support attorneys with administrative and transactional tasks, demonstrating strong initiative and attention to detail.
Coordinate and track continuing legal education (CLE) requirements for attorneys.
Anticipate needs, identify potential issues, and propose solutions proactively.
Prioritize and complete multiple tasks with precision and efficiency under tight deadlines.
Exhibit strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with attorneys, clients, and colleagues.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Demonstrate exceptional proofreading, document preparation, and typing skills.
Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with the following systems preferred:
Chrome River (expense management)
InTapp (time and billing, new matter intake)
iManage (document management system).

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000 (commensurate with experience).
Hybrid Schedule: Four days in-office, one day remote.
