Direct Counsel represents a well-regarded Am Law firm seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to support a diverse group of attorneys in its Philadelphia office. What You’ll Do:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support, including calendar management, travel coordination, expense processing, and billing support
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents with accuracy and efficiency
- Handle state and federal court e-filings and maintain organized case files
- Open new matters, manage document systems, and maintain file integrity
- Coordinate meetings, deadlines, and communications with attorneys, clients, and internal teams
- Assist with billing reviews, expense reimbursements, and vendor invoices
- Help drive workflow by anticipating needs and keeping priorities on track
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–7 years of large law firm experience (litigation and/or transactional)
- Strong experience with state and federal e-filing
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with iManage, InTapp, Chrome River, or similar systems
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills and a client-service mindset
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
