Direct Counsel is assisting one of the world’s leading international law firms in hiring a highly qualified midlevel associate to join their Investment Management – Financial Institutions practice group in either the New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, DC office.
Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience with investment adviser regulatory matters

Comparable law firm experience and/or experience working at the Securities and Exchange Commission

Familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and other federal securities laws

Experience counseling top-tier investment management firms on regulatory matters, including registration, conflicts of interest, compliance policies, advertising/marketing, SEC examinations, enforcement defense, and new product development

Excellent academic credentials with strong organizational, drafting, communication, and analytical skills

Active bar membership in the state of the office for which you are applying
