Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level litigation associate to join a sophisticated Commercial Litigation practice within a leading Am Law firm. The role offers substantial hands-on responsibility, direct client interaction, and exposure to complex business disputes in both state and federal courts.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of business litigation experience and a strong background handling complex commercial disputes through all phases of litigation. Candidates should be skilled in written advocacy, discovery management, motion practice, depositions, and courtroom appearances, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced practice environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings
• Conduct and manage written and document discovery
• Take and defend depositions and prepare witnesses for testimony
• Appear for status conferences and argue motions in court
• Assist with settlement negotiations, mediation, and trial preparation
• Collaborate directly with partners and clients on litigation strategy and case management

Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of commercial or business litigation experience 
• Strong experience with discovery, motion practice, and deposition work required
• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• Trial preparation and settlement conference experience preferred
• Strong academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and exceptional work ethic
• Active membership in good standing with the Utah Bar required or ability to obtain admission promptly

Compensation:
Expected salary range: $290,000 – $350,000, commensurate with experience
