What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Assistant (PCA) position at Direct Care Services, Inc.?
Personal care aides needed in COLFAX, LA off Hwy 71 N:
- We need someone to work every other Saturday and Sunday from 7:00AM-7:00PM and Sunday overnight 7:00PM-7:00AM.
- You will be a companion and prompt the client (47 yo female) to perform her personal hygiene, showering, dressing, fixing breakfast and lunch, and light housekeeping. She is ambulatory and is very alert but has no short term memory and gets agitated when she can't remember.
- She likes animals and being outside.
DSWs needed to start immediately.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
