Responsibilities
- Lead and assist a team of drivers throughout the workday.
- Ensure drivers understand their assigned deliveries and routes.
- Verify all vehicles receive a thorough pre-trip inspection, including checking fluid levels and documenting vehicle condition.
- Ensure drivers follow the company's inspection process accurately and completely.
- Monitor driver productivity and route efficiency, helping eliminate unnecessary stops and delays.
- Provide guidance and support to drivers while on the road.
- Communicate operational issues, delays, accidents, or concerns to the Operations Supervisor promptly.
- Promote safe driving practices and company policies.
- Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and customer service.
- Transportation, logistics, or vehicle transportation experience preferred but not required.
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead a team and work independently.
- Dependable with excellent time management.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and background
- Ability to work outdoors and be on your feet throughout the day.
