We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues.
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems within HVAC units using tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure efficiency and longevity.
- Repair components related to HVAC systems and refrigerant lines while adhering to EPA regulations for refrigerant handling.
- Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to perform repairs or modifications as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during field service visits.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC system repair and installation.
- Service technician experience with a strong understanding of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems.
- Knowledge of schematics, mechanical systems repair, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems.
- Familiarity with refrigeration processes
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and equipment troubleshooting techniques.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; possession of a
driver’s license is preferred. - EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC design or appliance repair are advantageous.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent customer service orientation.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
