What are the responsibilities and job description for the PR & Communications Lead position at Diraq?
Job Description
Join the team powering quantum innovation. At Diraq, our commercial and operational teams are the backbone of a bold mission: enabling millions of qubits on a single chip. If you’re excited to support world-class R&D and help bring quantum computing to market, we want you on this journey.
We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and hands-on PR & Communications Lead to elevate our story on the global stage – driving brand presence with a strong focus on the US as we scale from our Australian roots. This role is pivotal in shaping how the world sees us – crafting our voice, amplifying our founder’s vision, and building visibility with the audiences that matter most: media, investors, industry and government. You will be both a storyteller and a builder, rolling up your sleeves to deliver campaigns, while laying the foundations for long-term communications success in a high-growth startup.
Job Requirements
Diraq is redefining scalable quantum computing by enabling millions of qubits on a single chip – far beyond the hundreds available today – to unlock practical, commercial quantum applications. We are building a full-stack quantum computing company, delivering quantum hardware and software as a cloud-accessible service.
Our proprietary technology, backed by over 20 years of research and more than $150 million in grant and venture capital funding, and protected by 11 patent families, leverages existing silicon CMOS manufacturing and foundries to accelerate development and reduce costs – paving a faster, more efficient path to market.
We are a team of world-leading scientists, engineers, and business professionals. With a strong IP portfolio and partnerships with global technical and commercial leaders, we are shaping the quantum ecosystem of the future and driving meaningful impact across the entire industry.
Diraq is a global business with teams located in Sydney, Australia, and Palo Alto and Boston, United States. Our presence across these key locations enables us to access top-tier talent and collaborate closely with leading research institutions, government agencies, and commercial partners.
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
We’ve got this one covered! We respectfully ask that recruitment agencies refrain from making contact, unsolicited CV's/profile floating will not be considered.
