Dipsea Capital is a hedge fund based in Mill Valley, California. We run short-duration strategies designed to produce consistent, uncorrelated returns.
Since inception, on July 1, 2015, our fund has generated a positive net return in every completed calendar year. Not because we predict every market move, but because we identify regimes, manage risk, and remain disciplined.
AI agents have changed the economics of investment research. Work that once required teams of researchers, developers, and weeks of effort can now be explored, coded, tested, and refined in hours.
The constraint is no longer generating ideas. It is knowing which ideas are worth pursuing, testing them rigorously, and turning valid signals into disciplined investment decisions.
We have one half of that equation. We are looking for the other.
What we bring
A live fund with real capital, real execution, and real investors.
We have established regulatory and operational infrastructure, a proprietary regime and risk framework, and four decades of trading experience, market observations, and investment ideas developed both on and off the trading floor.
What you bring
Deep fluency with AI agents, LLM driven research, and quantitative methods.
You may already be using these tools to uncover market edges at personal account scale. You may have built agentic research systems and want to test them where the stakes are real.
You want a partner who brings capital, execution, infrastructure, and market judgment.
