As our Survey Department continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Field Surveyor to support a variety of land development, infrastructure, and construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced survey technology while collaborating with a highly skilled team of survey professionals.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Field Surveyor, you will play a key role in collecting precise field data and supporting project delivery across:

- Topographic surveys
- Boundary surveys
- Construction layout and stakeout
- Control point establishment and verification
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Operating total stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and data collectors
- Establishing and verifying survey control points and benchmarks
- Performing topographic, boundary, and construction stakeout work
- Conducting quality checks to ensure accurate and complete field data
- Troubleshooting basic equipment and field-related issues
- Maintaining and calibrating survey equipment
- Collaborating with crew chiefs, project managers, and office staff to support project execution
- Following all safety standards and field procedures
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license required
- One or more years of surveying, construction, civil engineering, or related field experience preferred
- Experience operating survey equipment such as total stations and GPS/GNSS systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varied conditions and terrain
- Ability to lift and carry field equipment up to 50 lbs.
