Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of pets while providing exceptional grooming services. Your expertise in animal handling and grooming will help create a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, clipping, and styling according to breed standards and client preferences.
• Handle and restrain animals safely during grooming sessions to ensure their comfort and safety.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming needs, pet care, and any concerns regarding their pets.
• Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area, tools, and equipment to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any concerns to pet owners or veterinary staff as necessary.
• Assist with other animal care tasks as needed, including feeding, walking, or providing basic training tips to pet owners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong understanding of various breeds and their specific grooming needs.
• Proficient in animal handling techniques, including restraint methods for safe grooming practices.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Ability to lift heavy animals when necessary and perform physical tasks associated with grooming duties.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
