POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of Brand Sales and Support, the Franchise Sales Operations Manager acts as the subject matter expert on franchise business opportunities and execution as relates to store operations, distribution, fairs and festivals, mobile sales, and marketing. The Franchise Sales Operations Manager is a key trainer for both internal and external candidates and is knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of business format franchising. The Franchise Sales Operations Manager will oversee and grow the SLUSH PUPPiE distribution business. Working with existing distributers to grow their business and help onboard new prospects as identified.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Develops and maintains multi-level relationships across all franchisees and distributors within the assigned territory.
  • Proactively sells, markets and supports company products to grow sales and profits both for company and our franchisees and distributors.
  • Responsible to ensure sales within the designated territory to all franchisees and distributors meet the annual volume and revenue budget.
  • Responsible for all levels of account management and issue resolution to support franchisee/distributor.
  • Role is the primary liaison with the Territory Sales Managers (TSMs). Works directly on operations at the franchise/distributor level covering location based, event based, and distribution-based business models.
  • Proactively identifies new target distributors, franchisees and retail locations. Works with supervisor to align plans to grow within the designated territory.
  • Works with the TSMs to help create plans to improve scores on their franchisees site evaluations to improves sales at the unit level.
  • Determines if letters of default will be drafted based on site evaluations and what would constitute appropriate action to clear those defaults.
  • Works with Franchisees and TSMs on marketing plans to help increase sales.
  • Works as the DDF liaison with the TSM’s on site visits, openings, training, and marketing.
  • Coordinates all Grand Openings for both Dippin’ Dots and Doc Popcorn and attends the Grand Openings within the designated territories. Includes the grand opening plans, marketing, and social media.
  • Works with the marketing department on Menu boards, Special marketing projects, and soft/grand opening social media.
  • Handles key accounts on a national basis as appropriate.
  • Works with Franchisees on new store designs and retrofits.
  • Oversees and organizes all Franchise Training in Paducah, KY or other appropriate locations as needed.
  • Coordinates all new Franchise openings and training on site. Works with all Franchisees on their equipment/product orders, marketing, and onsite training.
  • Identifies potential “emerging chains”, presenting to their senior management for uniform program development, and closing the deal.
  • Manages new programs to ensure growth in the business, handling any issues, and ensuring the chain is content with the program.
  • Attends and supports the Annual Franchise Conference.
  • Manages all aspects of the Service Provider Program including maintenance of the “request to pursue” and approval documents.
  • Works operationally with SLUSH PUPPiE distributers and their teams to ensure operational excellence that delivers results to identified targets.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt well to change.
  • Able to interact with the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Must be comfortable with public speaking, working with a variety of people, problem solving and frequent travel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 2-3 years' experience in franchise sales preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Travel will be required to perform the role. The amount of travel will depend on the opportunities that are being worked at any particular time.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
