Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Team Member to join our startup team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in the food industry, particularly in restaurant settings. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared according to our standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development with the Head Chef.
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and sanitized.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional food service.
Skills
- Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of menu planning and catering services is a plus.
