This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience working with commercial hot and cold kitchen equipment, small refrigeration, and food service systems.
Position Overview:
As a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technician, you will play a key role in keeping our restaurants operating smoothly and safely. You'll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment, including hot-side and cold-side equipment and small refrigeration systems.
What you'll do:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, ranges, fryers, steamers, warmers, refrigeration units, and ice machines.
- Diagnose and repair hot-side and cold-side equipment, including small refrigeration and HVAC-adjacent systems.
- Respond to service calls efficiently, accurately, and with a strong sense of urgency to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issues in restaurant environments.
What you'll need:
- At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, repair, and installation preferred.
- Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment (hot and cold equipment; small refrigeration strongly preferred).
- Technical training or certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or commercial foodservice equipment preferred.
- A clean driving record and a current, valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical examination.
