The maintenance assistant position requires the ability to assist/complete various building repairs, is responsible for certain event set-up requests and groundskeeping duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Change light bulbs, replace ceiling tiles, touch-up paint, plunge toilets, pick up trash, clean roof drains, sweep sidewalks
- Complete set-up/break-down of events including moving furniture and stage set-up
- Move deliveries
- Minimum level of Education: High School Degree/Equivalent
- 0 – 2 years work experience in general maintenance, item assembly
- Enter additional qualifications/requirements:
- Ability to lift/move 50 pounds at times
- Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks
- Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training within 30 days of hire.
