Key Responsibilities
- Provide an environment that fosters a love of learning and allows students to grow in their faith.
- Deliver engaging instruction across grade-level curriculum areas
- Demonstrate content expertise by making cross-curricular connections and developing instructional plans that incorporate higher-order thinking skills.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and school administration to foster a supportive and successful academic environment.
- Partner closely with the grade-level team and the Instructional Teaching Assistant to co-plan and deliver high-quality instruction that meets the diverse needs of all students.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Professional experience related to Elementary School teaching.
- NC Teaching license or equivalent from another state
- Employment is contingent upon passing a criminal background and reference check; must complete Diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training upon hire.
- Prior experience teaching lower elementary students.
- Prior experience teaching in a Catholic school.
