Key Responsibilities
Instructional Leadership
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology meaningfully into classroom instruction.
- Model effective instructional strategies using educational technology.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing support for faculty.
- Assist teachers in designing engaging, student-centered learning experiences.
- Research and introduce emerging educational technologies and best practices.
- Plan and facilitate professional learning opportunities for faculty and staff.
- Provide individualized technology coaching based on teacher needs.
- Create instructional resources, tutorials, and guides for technology integration.
- Teach digital citizenship and responsible technology use.
- Support students in developing digital literacy and technology skills.
- Assist students and teachers with educational technology platforms and applications.
- Assist with the deployment and inventory of student and staff devices.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of Chromebooks, iPads, classroom technology, and educational software.
- Work collaboratively with the school's IT support provider on hardware and network issues.
- Maintain technology inventories and instructional technology resources.
- Support implementation of learning management systems and digital instructional platforms.
- Serve as a member of the school's instructional leadership team.
- Help evaluate and implement technology initiatives aligned with the school's strategic goals.
- Stay current with educational technology trends and share best practices.
- Support school events and initiatives requiring technology integration.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, or a related field
- 3 or more years of related work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology integration.
- Experience with Google Workspace for Education and Chromebook environments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to coach and support adult learners in a positive, encouraging manner.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a criminal background and reference check; must complete Diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training upon hire.
- North Carolina teaching license or ability to obtain licensure preferred.
- Experience teaching in an elementary or middle school setting preferred.
- Experience with educational technology coaching.
- Knowledge of instructional design and blended learning.
- Experience supporting one-to-one device programs.
- Familiarity with educational platforms such as Google Classroom, i-Ready, FACTS, Canva for Education, and other digital learning tools.
- Experience providing professional development to faculty.
