SUMMARY
University of Central Florida Catholic Campus Ministry is actively seeking two passionate and attentive students who desire to build up the Catholic Campus Ministry at UCF through ingenuity, secretarial, and organizational transformative work! The Intern’s job is one of service and evangelization through administrative assistant work.
We currently have two available positions; Tech Intern will focus on tech assisting and collaborating with the Music Director for all AV and recording needs at CCM programs and liturgies. Social Media intern will coordinate the scheduling of posts on CCM Instagram and Facebook pages for all of CCM. Recruits, trains and supervises a team of social media content creators to advertise upcoming CCM events online as well as posting after events. They will be working alongside another Student Intern and directly under the Director of Campus Ministry.
This is a part-time role for 12 hours per week, starting on August 13, 2025.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties and functions, as outlined herein, are intended to be representative of the type of tasks performed within this classification. They are not listed in any order of importance. - Collects and organizes new members sign up information, as well as manages the ministry communications via Breeze.
- Assists staff in counting the money collections from Sunday Mass.
- Creates, prints, and posts event material such as monthly calendars and committee event advertisements
- Manages the ministry’s internal communication system, GSuite, black board of events.
- Updates ccmknights.com, responding to information emails.
- Assists ministry functional maintenance i.e., placing online orders, parking/towing, cleaning out kitchen leftovers, caring for coffee stations, maintaining restroom decorations (women’s restroom only), checking dispensers, Word Among Us booklets.
- Supports CCM Director and other staff in various tasks, new assignments, special projects, and problem solving.
- Maintains and updates photos within our office, i.e., retreat photos, Staff, SPO, and Eboard photos, and event photos.
- Welcomes new students and guests to Catholic Center, give tours, connect them to committees and events.
- Generates new ideas to increase the Center’s warmth, efficiency, clarity of communication, both internal and external, according to the mission and vision of CCM.
- Maintains high level of confidentiality in all areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma required;
Proficiency with GSuite
Ability to organize and save files.
Preference will be given to students currently enrolled at UCF, Valencia or Seminole State, especially those with prior experience at CCM.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through.
• Maintain an established work schedule (12 hours per week, position available when UCF is in session)
• Proficiency using copiers, GSuite, Microsoft Office, Squarespace and Slack.
• Strong sense of ownership and urgency.
• Able to complete work independently while functioning in a team setting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (10 pounds). The ability to sit and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to reach, grasp, feel, and see up close and from afar. Must be able to use basic office computer hardware and peripherals, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to communicate verbally and in written form.
