La Purisima School is seeking a passionate and engaging Part-Time Short-Term Spanish Teacher to join our instructional team.
The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality Spanish language instruction, foster cultural awareness, and support students’ language development across appropriate grade levels for a short-term assignment.
Schedule: Tuesday 8-1:30; Wednesday 8-11:30; Thursday 8-12:45; Friday 8-1:30

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and deliver effective Spanish language lessons tailored to student proficiency levels.
Teach vocabulary, grammar, conversation, reading, and writing in Spanish.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and cultural appreciation.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional planning.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or related field.
Teaching credential or certification preferred (depending on school requirements).
Must be a practicing Catholic committed to supporting the school’s faith-based mission.
Strong proficiency in Spanish and English.
Experience teaching Spanish preferred.
Effective classroom management and communication skills.
