Location: Lake Leelanau, MI
St. Mary Parish & School in Lake Leelanau, MI is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Maintenance & Custodial Coordinator to oversee the care, maintenance, and appearance of our parish and school campus. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring our buildings and grounds remain safe, clean, and well-maintained while coordinating custodial operations and working with contractors on facility projects.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
- Occasional evenings and weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
- Coordinate and oversee daily custodial operations.
- Maintain the safety, cleanliness, and appearance of campus buildings and grounds.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and facility systems.
- Coordinate maintenance projects and work with outside contractors and inspectors.
- Purchase maintenance and custodial supplies.
- Set up facilities for parish and school events.
- Communicate facility needs and major repairs with administration.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- General knowledge of building maintenance and custodial practices.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Experience in facility maintenance is preferred.
