Working closely with the LEA, classroom teachers, administrators, and families, the Resource Teacher will oversee the implementation and ongoing monitoring of student Individualized Service Plans, Catholic Accommodation Plans, and Individual Learning Plans, delivering both small group pull-out instruction and classroom push-in services to students receiving special education and English Language Learner support. The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including consulting with South Bend Community Schools on student ISPs, attending annual case conferences, administering WIDA screeners and ACCESS testing, providing targeted math and reading interventions, assisting with dyslexia screening, and coordinating with paraprofessionals to ensure every student's plan is fully implemented and consistently communicated to all relevant staff. The ideal candidate holds a teaching license in special education and/or an ENL endorsement, is proficient in Google Suite, and brings strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills to the role.
