The Catholic Diocese of Covington is excited to invite dynamic applicants for a full-time Development and Planning Coordinator position within our Office of Stewardship and Mission Services. This is an on-site role located in Covington, KY. In this role, you will be at the forefront of Bishop John Iffert’s strategic vision, helping to launch a new ministry and be part of a cutting-edge fund development program that will shape the future of our Church.
Your Responsibilities
- Be the Connector: Serve as the primary contact for planners, staff, donors, and community leaders.
- Lead Projects: Coordinate monthly on-site meetings and ensure that technology and materials are prepared. Your efforts will ensure smooth operations for both professionals and volunteers.
- Orchestrate: Provide hands-on support for the strategic planning process, collaborating with up to 100 professionals and clergy to maintain progress and momentum.
- Get Creative with Outreach: Develop innovative strategies and engaging materials to connect with current and potential donors, inviting them to join a cause greater than themselves.
- Build Relationships: Foster meaningful connections with donors, key leaders, and the broader community. Your work will also support the Diocesan Parish Annual Appeal (DPAA), new projects, and future legacy gifts.
What We’re Looking For
- Education & Experience: A bachelor’s degree, with experience in secular or church development, or related non-profit experience.
- Faith in Action: Practicing Roman Catholics who is energized by sharing the Church’s mission and vision, and who is ready to demonstrate how every contribution makes a difference.
- Tech-Savvy & Organized: Applicants should excel at managing multiple tasks, utilizing digital tools, and solving problems efficiently.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity, confidence, and collaboration. Experience with database systems is a plus.
