The position reports to the Director of Mission Advancement and operates with some latitude for the use of independent judgment and initiative.

The Pastor is the visible principle and foundation of unity in the parish Our Lady of Wisdom University Parish which the Bishop has entrusted to him. He makes Christ’s mission present and enduring in the parish. In order to fulfill his mission, the Pastor employs suitable, chosen collaborators (clerics, religious, or lay people). He shares with them his mission and entrusts various responsibilities to them.
Positions employed at Our Lady of Wisdom University Parish help to extend the ministry of the Pastor in particular ways as outlined in the job description. Therefore, the employee in this position is closely connected to and assists the Pastor in the performance of his ministry and thereby engages in ministry for the Church.

Essential Duties
- As an integral part of your ministry for the Church as carried out in this position, support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic ministry and the mission of the parish in both your professional and personal life.
- Act as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Continuously grow in your ministry by participating in religious ceremonies, training sessions, and reflection activities as directed.
- Database management: Oversee and maintain accurate records in donor Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (Bloomerang database)
- Gift Processing: Process incoming donations, track pledges, and generate accurate tax-acknowledgement and thank-you letters.
- Donor Stewardship: Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors, helping them stay engaged with the organization's mission.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the logistics, marketing, and execution of galas, campaigns, and community fundraising events.
- Grant & Proposal Support: Research funding opportunities, track grant deadlines, and gather the necessary reporting metrics for grant applications.
- Manage the Monthly Giving Team and continue to grow the membership
- Work to acquire new monthly donors and keep in regular contact during fundraising events.
- Maintain a work schedule that maximizes availability to staff and customers.
- Communication to the Community-calls/emails/texts/face to face visits.
- Knowledge of the structure and basic teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective, positive relationships with all segments of the community.
- Skill in operating position-appropriate technology, including various word-processing and spreadsheet software, database programs, web design applications, web browsers, and other typical office equipment and technology.
- Skill in attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate verbally and written in a variety of formats.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to parishioners and other visitors to the parish, and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and utilize effective time management techniques.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Minimum Qualifications
Education And Trainings
- Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience to job description.
- Typically requires 1–3 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit administration, or database management.
- Software Literacy: Proficiency in Google Office Suite (especially sheets) and familiarity with fundraising CRM platforms
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting donor correspondence and creating presentations.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, a knack for multitasking, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- English (proficient in conversing, reading, and writing).
- Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
- Must maintain compliance with the Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) policies throughout the employment period.
