Instructional Assistant
Saint James Catholic School is seeking a dynamic, Christ-centered Instructional Assistant to join our faculty for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will possess a strong Catholic faith, a love for children, strong communication skills and positive classroom management practices.
Duties of an Instructional Assistant include:

Classroom management: Helping teachers prepare lesson materials, set up and tidy classrooms, and maintain a clean and orderly learning environment

Student support: Helping students understand classroom rules and procedures, answer questions, and provide support

Student supervision: Keeping students focused and prepared, and monitoring them during lunch, and on the playground

Assessment: Grading papers

Clerical tasks: Making copies and maintaining supply inventory
