What are the responsibilities and job description for the Huntington Catholic Schools, Huntington - Pre K-3 Teacher position at Diocesan AM Services of Fort Wayne?
Huntington Catholic School is seeking qualified candidates for Preschool three-year-old teaching position. The position is part time with a focus on classroom instruction. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in early childhood education along with a desire to inspire our students. The teacher is expected to:
- Plan and teach lessons using the Diocesan Curriculum and State Standards.
- Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction.
- Attend staff meetings, and serve on committees as needed. Establish and enforce rules for behavior.
- Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence.
Preferred qualifications include two or more years of teaching experience at the early childhood level. Teacher must have or be working towards an early childhood degree and possess excellent communication skills. Successful candidates must possess or be working towards an early childhood teaching credential, be enrolled in a credential program, or have a credential/license from another state.
An outstanding candidate will have a deep desire to work as a Catholic school educator, and a commitment to multicultural education.
