CAMPUS SAFETY MONITOR 5.5 HOURS 10 MONTHS/182 DAYS 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM Acceptance of this position must not put employee in overtime i.e., more than five and three quarter (5.75) hours a day. 1. Any Combination of graduation from High school diploma or equivalent and Associate of Arts Degree and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above. Police Academy course work desired. 2. Ability to Patrol and supervise campus activities to assure the well-being and safety of students and staff in non-classroom activities, 3. Assure student compliance with school and organizational policies and regulations. 4. Learn, apply and explain organizational policies, rules and regulations related to parking and security of buildings and grounds. 5. Investigate occurrences of property damage and suspicious or criminal activities. 6. Prevent and break up student conflicts and fights, prepare incident reports. 7. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. 8. Possession of a valid California Class C driver’s license.
