Dinsmore is seeking a Client Account Specialist at our Cincinnati, OH location supporting our Default Services group.
Responsibilities
- Process narrative edits and time and cost adjustments
- Generate monthly Work-In-Progress (WIP) reports as directed by client
- Enter attorney and paralegal time, as needed, to meet deadlines
- Assist attorneys and legal administrative assistants with client inquiries
- Address internal and external inquiries in connection with billed and unbilled totals, payment status, and matter history
- Assist team with projects such as reviewing official documents received for client matters for accuracy and logging information from those documents in our document and case management system
- Maintain telephone, email, and personal contact with clients, attorneys, and staff
- Observe confidentiality in all Firm and client matters
- Other duties as assigned
- Working knowledge of accounting functions
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Ability to use good judgment
- Understanding of Default Servicing client billing practices and expectations a plus
- Effective use of a case management (ea360/CaseAware preferred, but not required)
- Experience utilizing Aderant, BigHand, and Prebill Manager legal billing software, a big plus
