HELP WANTED: Parts Puller
Automotive Parts Puller: Do you love to work on cars and trucks? Do you want to control your own paycheck? Do you take pride in your work? Do you enjoy working independently? Do you thrive in a high pressure environment? Then this is the position for you!
Incumbent will be removing sheet metal (doors, fenders, lights, etc.) from vehicles. Cutting quarter panels and rocker panels with a Sawzall. Retrieving unbolted parts from the vehicles in the yard and warehouse locations. All parts are are pulled from vehicles that are stored in outdoor holding areas then brought to the QC Department for inspection.
In order to be successful in this position you must be able to:
- Identify vehicle makes, models, years, and compatible parts.
- Safely remove automotive parts using hand and power tools.
- Minimize damage to parts during removal and handling.
- Tag, label, stage, and store parts according to inventory procedures.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity goals.
- Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.
- Communicate part issues or shortages to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Disassemble vehicles for parts harvesting
- Safely remove parts like headlights, bumpers, panels, fenders, and hoods
- Inspect vehicle components for damage and report findings
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow safety protocols
- Tagging and Warehousing parts
- Cutting vehicles with saws.
Requirements:
- Graduation from High School, Trade School or equivalent. Own Basic Automotive Tools.
- Experience in auto body repair, dismantling, or teardown of vehicles
- Knowledge of various vehicle knowledge a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently and as a team player in all types of weather
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and dependable
- Hands on position, must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
