What You'll Do
Our team members are cross-trained in multiple areas of the restaurant, so every day is a little different.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing our menu items with consistency and attention to quality
- Providing friendly customer service and taking orders when needed
- Keeping the dining room and front counter clean and welcoming
- Washing dishes, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean kitchen
- Working together with teammates to keep operations running smoothly
- Pitching in wherever needed during busy shifts
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Is dependable and shows up ready to work
- Enjoys working with people and being part of a team
- Takes pride in preparing quality food and providing great customer service
- Can stay positive and organized during busy lunch and dinner rushes
- Is willing to learn multiple positions throughout the restaurant
- Has a strong work ethic and looks for ways to help without being asked
Restaurant experience is appreciated but not required. We're happy to train someone with the right attitude and work ethic.
Schedule
- Part-time (24–32 hours per week)
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Typical shifts fall between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM
- Some flexibility is appreciated as schedules may vary based on business needs.
Pay & Benefits
- Starting pay is based on experience, reliability, and work history.
- Entry-level team members start at $11/hour with an opportunity for a performance-based raise after the first 90 days.
- Applicants with restaurant experience and a proven work history may qualify for a higher starting wage.

Founded by Richard Paul in 2020, Diner Dogs began as a small hot dog cart during the early days of the pandemic. Thanks to incredible support from the Kuna and Melba communities, the business quickly became a local favorite.
After four successful seasons on the cart in Kuna, Diner Dogs opened its permanent restaurant in Melba and has continued serving fresh burgers, specialty hot dogs, fresh-cut fries, and other customer favorites ever since.
