Essential Responsibilities Duties
- Polish and inspect glassware, flatware, dishware and serving pieces to ensure they are spotless and free of water spots, fingerprints, chips, or defects.
- Organize polished items and restock service stations, bars, and storage areas throughout the shift.
- Maintain an adequate supply of polished service ware to support uninterrupted restaurant operations.
- Assist with sorting, transporting, and organizing clean dishes from the dishwashing area.
- Remove damaged or chipped items from circulation and notify management.
- Keep polishing stations, storage areas, and workspaces clean, organized, and sanitary.
- Properly handle delicate glassware and service items to minimize breakage.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Assist with opening, closing, side work and other duties as needed within the scope of the role.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Food Handler Certification required.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and climb throughout the shift.
- Push and pull carts, dollies, and inventory throughout the restaurant.
- Ability to safely handle fragile glassware, dishware, and flatware.
- Must be able to move safely through kitchen areas, including slick floors, hot surfaces, humid environments and tight spaces.
