Store Manager

Dine Company serves the restaurant and food service industry in the Kentuckiana area and throughout the Midwest region with top brands of equipment and supplies. This position provides management leadership for retail operations. The store derives its revenue from the in-person shopper and inbound phone calls. It is the gateway to the company for new business or the warehouse store for existing customers. It is oriented towards owners and operators needing fast convenient access to inventory and solutions for foodservice equipment and smallwares. Store Manager is over all store positions including Inside Sales, Parts Sales, Customer Service, Counter Sales, Stockers and Load Outs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Customer Service:

· 100% responsible for Customer Care, Floor Sales, Check Out, Customer Pick Up

· Ensure a clean environment in the store and bathrooms

· Answer inbound calls and assisting in store sales

· Safety and Security of Employees and Customers

· To provide an Exceptional Customer Experience

Inventory:

· Oversee Store Conditions, Merchandising, re-Stock, resets, up to and including stocking shelves and equipment

· Ensuring used equipment is stocked, swept, dusted and priced appropriately including used smallwares

· Aisles Zoned daily

· Assist in inventory control and cycle counts with Inventory Manager

Administration:

· Responsible for HR functions and policy training for store staff

· Set employee schedules and approve time off

· Hiring and Training of Store Associates

· Administrative functions including weekly reporting P&L and issues

· Sales promotions, signage and displays

· Daily Cash Management and Oversight

· Hire / Fire Responsibilities

Sales:

· Manager over Inside Sales and all inbound calls

· Helping inside sales and customer service negotiate pricing with a customer to close deals

· Helping customers on store floor and over the phone

· Replacement parts sales counter

· Used Equipment store floor

· Assisting store staff in quoting installation and delivery

Working conditions: The store is a working warehouse with inventory bin located and priced for ease of shopping or for order picks for daily delivery. Inventory must be monitored and properly merchandised daily.

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8AM – 5PM and Saturday 9AM – 3PM

Work 45-50 hours per week. Will work rotation for Saturday’s. Start time of 7:30 M-F.
A minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
MUST be able to pass a complete background check including drug test.
