Position Overview:
The IBP Demand Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts to support manufacturing, inventory, and supply chain planning. This role collaborates with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to align customer demand with production capabilities and business objectives. The IBP Demand Planner analyzes demand trends, drives forecast accuracy and supports the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to optimize inventory, improve customer service, and achieve operational goals.

The IBP Demand Planner analyzes demand trends, drives forecast accuracy and supports the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to optimize inventory, improve customer service, and achieve operational goals.
Required/Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on master data management and/or production planning.
- Knowledge of ERP and planning systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and planning/reporting tools such as Power BI or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks or data stewardship principles.
- Knowledge of IBP frameworks and best practices.
- Assist with the plant’s monthly and weekly IBP processes, including demand planning, supply planning, and capacity alignment.
- Facilitate or assist with cross-functional planning meetings to ensure alignment between production schedules, customer demand, inventory targets, and business goals.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Scheduling, and Procurement teams to develop and maintain accurate forecasts and operational plans.
- Help lead initiatives to optimize planning processes, reduce planning cycle time, and improve visibility into key performance drivers.
- Act as the business owner for IBP system tools, including configuration, user support, and enhancements.
