- Manage and service a book of market clients for group and individual benefits.
- Conduct client needs assessments and provide strategic benefits guidance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client service, inquiries, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate annual open enrollment, including plan updates, education, and employee support.
- Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, third-party administrators, and compliance to ensure smooth administration and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate policy documentation in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
Position Requirements
- 2 years of experience in employee benefits, HR, or a related field
- Working knowledge of employee benefits (medical and ancillary plans)
- Illinois Life and Health Insurance License
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Strong customer focus with effective listening and follow-up skills
