What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pizza Cook position at Dimo's Pizza?

Our photographer started as a front of house team member. The guy who comes up with all the menu options, he started as a pizza cook. The team member who plans our events? BOH means you’re working behind the scenes. But make no mistake, that doesn’t mean you’re not part of the team. In fact, you even split tips. Evenly. Because your hard work should be rewarded and valued just as much as everyone else in the shop.
And while you’re working in BOH, you’ll learn how to be a pizza artist… How to toss dough, top a pie, and work the pizza ovens. You’ll make any number of pizzas to ensure that everyone that walks through our door gets the perfect slice.

We’re looking for passionate cooks to join our team. We have locations in Wrigleyville, Lincoln Square and Wicker Park.

Responsibilities:
• Some late nights (after midnight) and weekends
• Stretch, top, and cook beautiful pizzas
• Make pizza varieties to match need
• Operate POS system
• Keep work area clean and tidy up to Chicago health code standards
• Manage food inventories and ingredients to ensure proper ordering
• Perform daily prep
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks
• Restock and reset after each shift
• Assist in delivery or FOH as required
Required Skills:
• Move at a rapid pace for a prolonged period of time
• Must be able to stay on feet for prolonged period of time
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Good communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Good prioritization and planning skills
