What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nurse Aide (Med/Surg) - PRN Day Shift - Med/Surg position at Dimmit Regional Hospital?
Provides administrative, clerical and clinical support for patients of all age groups and provides basic patient care. This position demonstrates basic knowledge skills necessary to take patient vitals, communicate appropriately and carry out delegated nursing assistant level tasks for assigned patient populations, assisting in the delivery of patient care and services under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Assists and performs vital signs and other clinical procedures and prepares instruments under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Supervised by the Emergency Room Department Supervisor.
Professional Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Successful completion and certification in Nurse Aide, or Emergency Medical Technician required.
