Direct Support Professionals- ALL SHIFTS
We are hiring Direct Support Professionals to work with young men in their 20s
**MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH YOUNG ADULT NEURODIVERSE POPULATION**
Responsibilities
- Spending the day with your client as a companion who engages and assists along side him in his hobbies, jobs or volunteer positions. (This means working along side him not just watching)
- Provide assistance and guidance with activities of daily living (some examples are personal care, meals, giving medication)
- Transportation
- General housekeeping tasks and meal preparation when needed
- Be willing and responsible to record copious and detailed notes at the completion of shift
Candidates Must:
- Understand presuming competence and practice it
- Have a strong desire to create long-term relationships with the client, their family and the community
- Be an active person who likes to be "on the go"
- Understand how to read an ISP and implement it
- View this position as not just a job but a way of life that is rewarding and fulfilling.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and excellent driving record
- Verifiable High School diploma.
- Must be fluent in the English language
- Experience as a DSP, paraprofessional, 1:1 aide or similar with neurodivergent adults

Salary : $23 - $25
