Position Title: Customs Specialist / Entry Writer
Location: El Segundo, CA
Qualifications:
- Minimum requirement High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Customs Brokerage.
- Must have great attitude and collaborate well with others.
- Able to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
- Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to adapt to changing industry regulations and procedures.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with all parties (customers, vendors, CBP/PGA, internal offices, etc) through emails, calls, messages, etc.
- Possess general knowledge of daily brokerage operations.
- Able to timely manage and process numerous files independently and compliantly.
- Able to review documentation for any issues (before, during, and after processing).
- Able to handle and process common brokerage files (Entry, Inbond, ISF).
- Be familiar with CBP/PGA general requirements and how to research for more information.
- Have general knowledge of using brokerage software.
- Coordinate efforts and communications within brokerage and internal offices.
- Perform other jobs as assigned by management.
