Part-Time Day Shift Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of those you serve.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the residents' quality of life.
• Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Uphold resident rights by respecting their privacy, dignity, and independence.
• Support individuals with disabilities by assisting them in achieving their personal goals and fostering independence.
• Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor residents' health and report any changes in condition.

Experience

• Previous experience in home community care or a similar caregiving role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
• A strong understanding of resident rights and behavior management strategies is essential.
• A compassionate demeanor coupled with excellent communication skills is critical for success in this role.
