What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers)
Master the Schedule:
- Build and maintain caregiver and nursing schedules to ensure proper staffing coverage.
- Adjust schedules quickly and fairly in response to call-offs, vacations, and last-minute changes.
- Track attendance and time-off requests, maintaining clear and accurate records.
Be a Communication Hub:
- Communicate schedule updates and changes to staff in a timely, professional manner.
- Work closely with department leaders to forecast and plan staffing needs.
- Build positive relationships with team members to promote collaboration and accountability.
Support Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure schedules meet state staffing requirements and internal policy standards.
- Maintain documentation and logs for audits and regulatory purposes.
- Assist with onboarding schedules and coordination for new hires.
What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Calendar Skills)
Experience & Knowledge:
- Previous scheduling or administrative experience in a healthcare, senior living, or similar setting preferred.
- Familiarity with scheduling software or platforms is a plus.
