Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Accountant, located at our office in Newton, IA. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for managing tax preparation and compliance tasks, preparing financial statements, and performing accounting duties. The role will involve analyzing financial data, assisting clients with tax planning strategies, and ensuring all financial records comply with regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and Tax regulations
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
- Solid understanding of general Accounting principles and practices
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication and client relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification or willingness to pursue certification is a plus
- Familiarity with tax and accounting software is beneficial
