Role Description
The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring products meet established quality standards by performing systematic inspections, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Buffalo, NY. Daily responsibilities will include monitoring production processes, testing materials and products, compiling quality performance reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will also develop and execute quality assurance protocols, maintain compliance with ISO standards, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Qualifications
- Quality Assurance and Control: Proficiency in quality management systems, inspection methods, and testing protocols.
- Problem-Solving and Analysis: Strong skills in root cause analysis, data interpretation, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with manufacturing processes, metal fabrication, and ISO 9000:2008 standards.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with quality management software, ERP systems, or statistical analysis tools.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively across teams and with suppliers.
