Individual Employment Contract
Start Date: Immediate Start Date
Schedule: 12 - month position Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm
Job Summary: Responsible for the general financial adminstration for Diman Regional Vocatioanl Technical High School.
Perform professional work requiring advanced application and use of concepts, theories, principles, practices, regulations, and terminology of accounting. Analyze and review financial data and prepare financial reports, transactions, and statements for both internal and external purposes. Establish guidelines and procedures based upon a comprehensive understanding of GAAP, applicable regulations, and the District’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 2 years public accounting experience, specifically in GASB and OMB A-133 audits.
- Minimum of 3 years of fund accounting experience.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects.
- Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
- Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work.
- Expert knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Infinite Visions, and ADP.
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to multitask and remain focused.
- Apply critical thinking to financial and other information presented within the scope of essential functions.
- Able to manage workload based on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
