Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and completeness
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
- Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety regulations, proper food handling, and cleanliness protocols in dining areas
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure seamless service flow
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling and order accuracy
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that fosters guest satisfaction and team collaboration
