Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients
- Support banquet services by ensuring all necessary items are clean and available for events
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with bussing tables when necessary to maintain a smooth flow of service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
