What began as a part time side business to bring in extra income quickly grew into a full-time, full-service landscaping company in 2022. Our vision is to help customers build and maintain beautiful landscapes in any neighborhood. Owner, Ben Dillon, has over 25 years of Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance experience and is looking to add seasonal staff to a rapidly growing company.
Position Details:
Landscape Crew Chiefs oversee a crew of 2-5 people to provide professional quality landscape services including lawn maintenance, property clean up, tree and shrub pruning, mulch and rock installation, other landscape installation, demo and labor support. Chiefs serve as the customer interface of the company ensuring that customer satisfaction is met, new customers are input into CRM systems such as Square and drives additional sales as the opportunity arises. Crew Chiefs are responsible for the overall safety of their team, company and customer property and the completion of services as directed. Chiefs will utilize a variety of landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, mini-skid steer loaders, plate compactors and other equipment as projects dictate. Training on all power equipment and tools and landscape techniques will be provided as well as safety gear and uniform shirts and hats. Chiefs should expect to work outside April-November in mild weather elements. Typical day is from 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday with opportunities for additional hours as workload fluctuates. Additional winter hours may be available for projects, snow removal and other winter services.
Position Requirements:
- 18 years old
- High School Graduate or GED
- Able to lift 50lbs independently
- Able to work in uneven terrain, outdoor environments and construction sites
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
- Conversational English
- Leadership experience > 1yr
Preferred background:
- Landscaping experience or horticulture degree.
- Experience with small construction equipment, hardscape installation
- Leadership experience > 3yrs
Position Pay and Benefits:
- Seasonal Part-time but expecting to become full-time quickly
- Pay $20-$28/hour based on experience and education
- Possible Winter services and snow removal work
- Commissions of new sales brought in through customer interaction
