Job description:
Dillon Auto Repair is a small auto repair shop that is steadily growing. We strive for excellent customer service and satisfaction. Dillon Auto Repair is successful because the work that we do is done with honesty and integrity. Our employee’s care about our customers and the quality of work performed on their vehicles. We are looking for a service advisor who can uphold the same values we do and has comprehensive experience in this role.
Service Advisor Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly
- Answer the phone and schedule customers
- Check customers in and out.
- Obtain customer and vehicle information
- Clearly report all vehicle symptoms and concerns as described by the customer
- Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage, and history of vehicle.
- Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
- Establish repair timeframe
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and update customers in a timely manner.
- Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
- Explain all completed work and charges to the customer.
Service Advisor Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience being a service advisor or service consultant.
- In depth knowledge of automobiles
- Proven record of providing exceptional customer service.
- Have an energetic personality.
- Personal and professional integrity.
- Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs.
- Positive, friendly attitude.
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Hours:
Monday- Friday 8am to 6pm with a lunch break from 1pm-2pm.
Pay:
Salary – $45,000- $65,000 a year
