Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and ensure the store is organized and visually appealing
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of various items
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and perform cashiering duties with attention to detail
- Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and inventory counts
- Use effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and address customer needs promptly
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities (preferred)
- Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and product demonstration tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory counts
- Customer service orientation with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
- Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed
