Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, windows, and furniture to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to uphold the hotel’s high standards.
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying appropriate cleaning solutions for different surfaces.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the management team promptly.
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment responsibly to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
- Familiarity with custodial equipment and safety protocols related to industrial cleaning is advantageous.
